Unknown depths

The blue ripples on the sea surface
Were rippling by with disregard to time
They were in the process of creating depths
Depths of the sea
To be seen by the naked eye

People all around seemed to be lost
Lost in time
The time that discussed and held their desires
Desires of the seen and the told
And their eyes were glossed with delight
As they watched their desires walk by

People looked around as they walked in groups
A grouping that they could understand
The depths of which were held by time
With difference having no meaning
As their eyes held a sort of status quo
To be felt and loved
As they so deemed

The ripples still forming by an unknown force
In disregard to time
The time that held the naked eye
The time that held their desires at sway
The time that couldn’t catch the unknown force
And the time that stood opposed to the depths of the sea

Lovely poem. If only time would stand still when we are the happiest! Zarina
