Eons of the desert

Galloping in case the weather hits
I see the shadow in the back
The eons are as strong as they can get
And I see me pulling the thread

Songs don’t help the frail
Me going in the past on the trail of scent
The laughters and sighs being a part of it
The calling of the shadow is growing its discourse

The weather hits and I gallop more
The shadow in the back and the eons have become long last friends
I see the shadow walking in the back
And the sun is high above my head

Dancing with me they go along their discourse
I seem to be pushing them back
The eons are as strong as they can get
And I see me pulling the thread

Are you talking of past shadows or moving ahead?
