The Navigator

You can pick a paper, a map, and a stick
In search of a point laid in the dark
Sniffing through, with the stick in hand
You can give all it takes to reach the camp

The points of deception, given by the map
The layers drawn were clues not sites
Not visual sites but secretive cues
You wish you had a well laid plan

You can stride or wag your tail
Your sight will be clear, only by luck
Sniffing through, with the stick
You can give all it takes to reach the camp

You can give all it takes to reach the camp
You can sniff through the paper and the map
In search of that point, you can hope to win
The darkness will always haunt you, as you stride

Nonetheless pick up the tools
Your sight will be clear only by luck
Wag a tail, as it may be
In search of that point, you can hope to win

The future is always uncertain, and that's what makes it so interesting.
